Milos Pays Tribute To Sydney FC

Sydney FC’s Serbian midfielder Milos Ninkovic has paid tribute to the Sky Blues fans as he leaves the club following seven successful years.

The 37-year old has decided to move on from the club he first joined back in 2015 having made over 200 appearances for the Sky Blues.

“I want to say thank-you to all Sydney FC Members and supporters for seven fantastic years here at Sydney FC,” said Ninkovic.

“I had the greatest times of my career at this club and for that I want to thank everyone connected with Sydney FC, including the Board of Directors, team-mates and the Sydney FC staff.

“I’m extremely sad to be leaving but I’ve made this decision in the best interests of my family and I thank everyone for their support.

“I will always look back at my time in Sky Blue with immense happiness and pride at what we were able to achieve together.

“I will never forget these years and I will also have a huge fondness and a strong bond with our Members and fans.

“I wish the club every success in the future.”

Ninkovic is one of the club’s most decorated players having won three Championships, three Premierships and an FFA Cup during his time with the Sky Blues.

He is also one of the most successful players in the history of the Isuzu-UTE A-League, winning two Johnny Warren medals for best player in the competition and a Joe Marston Medal for the best player in the Grand Final.
