With Middleby and Mark Milligan unavailable because of injury and suspension respectively, Ruben Zadkovich is likely to line up at right back for Sydney FC versus the Indonesian champions in Solo City on Wednesday.
Persik was the only one of Sydney FC’s AFC Champions League Group E rivals not to record a domestic win on the weekend. Pelita Jaya held Persik to a 2-2 draw in Kediri, whereas Shanghai Shenhua (1-0 away to Shenzhen Kingway) and Urawa Reds (2-1 at home to Jubilo Iwata) registered victories in their local leagues.
