Match Preview: Adelaide United v Sydney FC

Thumbnail

Sydney FC take on Adelaide United on Thursday night at ANZ Stadium (kick off 7:30pm AEST), with three games remaining in the regular season.

The Sky Blues will be out to make amends for two straight defeats in the Hyundai A-League, and come up against a Reds side looking to solidify their Finals football credentials.

The two sides have met twice previously in 2019/20, with Head Coach Steve Corica’s men triumphing 3-2 and 2-1 against the South Australians, with Adam Le Fondre, Paulo Retre and Ryan McGowan all finding the back of the net.

Expect goals in this encounter, with Carl Veart’s men entering the clash off the back of a entertaining 5-3 victory against Perth Glory last week.
