Ahead of the 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season, Sydney FC Men’s team have returned to Macquarie University Sports Fields for day one of pre-season.
Steve Corica’s side made their way back with mixed emotions with most of the squad having enjoyed a break overseas with some sunshine.
Those who were selected for International Squads were given extended time off with Robert Mak expected back next week after his success with Slovakia.
Otherwise, it was business as usual for the squad as they worked the cobwebs out of the system and began with some testing and a 3km running trial.
The new recruits also made an appearance with Matty Scarcella and Gus Hoesfloot in attendance after signing a scholarship deal along with the re-signing of Joel King and Pat Wood.
