Sydney FC Men’s and Women’s are in action and at home this weekend as we inch closer to Christmas Day.
Ufuk Talay and Ante Juric have made a list and checked it twice and here are their selected squads for this weekend.
Men’s
After heading down to Melbourne and not able to find the net, Ufuk Talay has welcomed back three names to the extended squad for this weekend’s match against Western United.
Max Burgess was available for selection last week however due to the fact that he had only had two training sessions with the squad since returning from injury, he wasn’t risked. This week however, it is highly likely that we will see him involved in the 18 man team.
Andrew Redmayne also makes his return from suspension with teenager Gus Hoesfloot dropping out of the squad in his place.
Corey Hollman who missed out due to injury is back and available for selection this weekend.
Only Wataru Kamijo is unavailable with a back injury that will see him out of action until the new year.

In his post match press conference, Ante Juric highlighted that Cortnee Vine’s heavy load post World Cup has taken it’s toll on the winger but now she is back to her best after she came off the bench and played 45 minutes against Glory.
Maddie Caspers continues to perform well in the middle of the park and she is included in the squad once more for this weekend.
Teigan Colliser, Abbey Lemon, Jynaya and Indiana Dos Santos are all included in the 20 player extended squad with four to be omitted come Friday night.
