Ins and Outs | Isuzu UTE A-League RND 11 & Liberty A-League RND 9

Ahead of the first home game of 2023, our squads have been announced for the Isuzu UTE A-League clash with Wellington Phoenix and our Liberty A-League battle with Newcastle Jets.

This week, both Head Coaches are blessed with a plethora of options for their squads.

Mens

Steve Corica has named a very similar squad to the side that won 2-0 in Newcastle, with Jack Rodwell, Robert Mak and Paulo Retre all included in the squad despite being subbed off in the afternoon heat.

Unfortunately, Joe Lolley is still serving the other half of his two game suspension and will be unavailable for the visit of the Phoenix.

Joe Lolley is out for this clash.

Adrian Vlastelica drops out due to illness, meanwhile Connor O’Toole and Alex Parsons are included in the 20 man list.

Women’s

After a convincing performance in Queensland, Ante Juric has been blessed with a strong squad at his disposal once again.

With Remy Siemsen now departing the club, it paves the way for Madison Haley to cement her starting position up front, with Shay Evans now being added to the matchday squad.

Abbey Lemon will be searching for her first goal of the season

Anna Green has also been added to the roster for this weekend with Kirsty Fenton continuing to do well at the left back slot, keeping the Kiwi international out of the side.

New emergency signing Jasmine Black has not been selected with Tahlia Franco taking her place in the 20 woman squad.
