Sydney FC teenager Indiana Dos Santos has been named in the Australian U17 squad which will travel to Vietnam for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifying matches.

This follows on from a short camp held in Sydney last month in which the 15-year-old spent a week with some more talented individuals training at Valentines Sports Park.

Dos Santos recently returned to training with the rest of her Sydney FC squad for the 2023/24 season and will now depart Ante Juric’s sessions on Saturday to join up with Rae Dower’s squad.

She will take on the Phillipines, Vietnam and Bangladesh with all matches played in Vietnam. The two teams who finish at the top of the group will progress through to the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup which will be held in Indonesia from the 7th-20th of April.
