6’ – KUCHARSKI HITS POST – King’s cross finds Kucharski but his direct header hits the post and bounces to safety.

What They Said: Ufuk Talay: “First half very good, we should have killed the game off with the opportunities we created.
“Second half maybe not so good at times we got picked off. We didn’t really have anything which harmed our box so we defended quite well but overall it’s always tough coming to Brisbane and a very welcome three points for us.
“Robbie and Jack will be assessed in the next 24-48 hours and we will go from there. Jack felt his calf again.”
What They Said: Luke Brattan: “We started really weel, we knew they were going to come out very quick and we had to match that.
“With the ball we were ok but the press was a bit off and they played through us a few times and got the goal from that.
“Second half we were off with and without the ball, it was a bit scrappy but we’ll take three points coming here as it’s a very hard place to come. We’ll move onto next week.
Match Report: Sydney FC have recorded a third consecutive win after a double from Brazilian striker Fabio Gomes gave them all three points at Suncorp Stadium.
The Sky Blues took a first minute lead through Fabio who finished off a dominant attacking move involving Lolley and Girdwood-Reich, before Kucharski found the Brazilian at the back post to head home.
Kucharski nearly made it two five minutes later hitting the post with a header from a Joel King cross before Lacerda hit the bar with a header from another left wing ball.
Gomes increased the lead on 42 minutes with a neat back-heel from Lolley’s low cross but Milenusic pulled one back on the stroke of half time on the counter.
Neither side created any clear cut chances in the the second half and the result moves Sydney FC up into the top six for now.
