Sydney FC faced Wellington Phoenix behind closed doors on Saturday, as preparations continue ahead of the 2018/19 season. 

The Sky Blues emerged 2-1 victors on the day, with Adam Le Fondre’s opening penalty cancelled out by Roy Krishna in the first half before Aaron Calver bagged a winner with under 20 minutes remaining.
