Sydney FC Head Coach Frank Farina believes an unbeaten run in the final five games of the season will give the Sky Blues a good chance of making the finals series.

However the former Socceroos coach would be happier with a five game winning streak.

“We want to win every game that we play. It-s as simple as that.

“If we pick up points in every game we-re going to have a good chance. If we win every game we-ll obviously make it but we-ve got five tough games to come,” said the former Socceroos coach after Thursday-s training session.

The Sky Blues travel to Perth this weekend with a good recent record against the Glory but Farina knows his side will need to be on form.

“It-s a difficult one, as it was last time when we went there and we got away with a good result,” continued Farina.

“We-re expecting another tough game without doubt because they-re still pushing for the six as we are.”

The coach also confirmed the team was free from any injury worries heading out West.

“Joel (Griffiths – hamstring) will travel and so will the others, some were a little stiff like Tiago and Terry McFlynn but they got through today and the week.”

Watch Alessandro’s first game at Allianz Stadium since renewing his contract and the Socceroos captain Lucas Neill’s home debut for Sydney FC against the current league leaders Central Coast Mariners on Saturday 9th March (kick off 5.30pm). Sydney will be looking to make it six wins in a row at home. Tickets are available by clicking here from Ticketek.
