The Sky Blues began the game well with De Vanna hitting the bar before a lighting storm stopped play for around 50 minutes.

After the stoppage Adelaide took the lead through Latsko before Huerta equalised on the stroke of half time with an excellent header.

Sydney FC began on the offensive in the second half and it wasn’t long before their dominance told with Colapricco showing quality to fire home after great work from substitute Ibini.

Latsko equalised with a header soon after, before McCaskill restored the lead with a close-range header from Colapricco’s free kick which had hit the post.

Princess Ibini put the result beyond doubt in the 88th minute slotting home Logarzo’s effort which rebounded off the post.

The Matilda hit her second in injury time, brilliantly firing in from long range to make it 5-2 to the Sky Blues.
