Sydney FC will be welcoming families large and small ahead of their opening home Hyundai A-League 2017/18 clash at Allianz Stadium on Sunday 15 October (kick off 7pm).
The Sky Blues will be hosting a precinct Family Fun Day, with proceedings kicking off from 5pm in the surrounds of the Stadium, with plenty of activities on offer for children of all ages.
Incoming Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend said the Family Fun Day will be the perfect evening to celebrate everything Sydney FC.
“As a family club we want everyone to come together ahead of our first home game, celebrate what we’ve achieved and celebrate the start of a new season,” he said.
“Our supporters are the lifeblood of the club and our Family Fun Day is a great way to reward their dedication.
“I’m looking forward to seeing plenty of smiling faces around the Stadium and in the stands and I can’t wait to celebrate our first home win of the new season with you all.”
There will be Sydney FC Clinics taking place for kids to continue to hone their skills during their offseason, face painting so you can well and truly show you’re Sky Blue, plus a jumping castle, photo opportunities and giveaways.
Pre-match inside Allianz Stadium will be all about recognising the Sky Blues’ feats of season 2016/17 and the successes enjoyed by Sydney FC’s Academy in the 2017 season, with a special presentation on the pitch.
The fun doesn’t end at kick off our A-League match however, as at half time it’s all about the women as our Westfield W-League squad is officially introduced to those in attendance and presented with their playing jerseys for the Westfield W-League 2017/18 season.
Following half time proceedings it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy another stellar Sky Blues second half performance at Allianz Stadium.
Sydney FC will also hold an exclusive Members’ Day during the season where you can get up close and personal with your Sky Blue stars, with details to come in the following weeks.
