Sydney FC Women will kick-off the 2026-27 Ninja A-League season with a cracking run of home fixtures, plus three Allianz Stadium Double Headers and an Easter Sunday Sydney Derby.
The Sky Blues open their campaign against Adelaide United at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre on Sunday 18 October at 4.30pm, before heading to Allianz Stadium a week later for a blockbuster Double Header against reigning Champions Melbourne City.
The clash will also mark the return of former Sydney FC star Cortnee Vine to face the Sky Blues.

Head Coach James Slaveski believes the fixture list gives his squad plenty to look forward to.
“It’s a really exciting draw and to begin with two home games gives us a great opportunity to start strongly in front of our Members and fans,” he said.
“We’re playing at some fantastic venues across Sydney and NSW this season and hopefully that allows us to engage with new supporters, while giving our existing Members some brilliant games to look forward to.”

With Sydney FC’s traditional Women’s home at Leichhardt Oval undergoing significant redevelopment over the next two seasons, the Sky Blues will play their 2026-27 and 2027-28 home fixtures across alternative venues before returning to the upgraded ground in 2028-29.
The temporary move provides an opportunity to take the Women’s team to different parts of Sydney and NSW, reaching new supporters and communities while the club will also explore travel and Membership options to assist Members for whom some venues may be less convenient.
Sydney FC was keen to take games to even more venues across the city but availability was restricted by synthetic playing surfaces, summer pitch renovation programs and existing event bookings.

However Captain Nat Tobin is excited by the prospect of returning to action in Sky Blue and playing at a few different places.
“There are some huge games there and the Allianz Stadium Double Headers are always special occasions for the players,” she said.
“I’m also really looking forward to getting out into different parts of the Sydney community, meeting new Members and fans and hopefully inspiring plenty of young girls to come along and support us.”

Other highlights include home fixtures at WIN Stadium against Central Coast Mariners just before Christmas, Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory, before the Sky Blues host Western Sydney Wanderers in a huge Easter Sunday Sydney Derby on 4 April.
Sydney FC will play 20 regular-season matches, with the campaign concluding away to Melbourne Victory on Saturday 10 April.
