Sydney FC-s “designated game” against the Central Coast Mariners saw representatives from the club come from Richmond near the Hawkesbury River to receive a cheque for one thousand dollars.
Young players Talia Bartlett, Erica Gaffey, Adrian Colussi, Angus Gaffey and Jessica Refalo and committee member Mark Gaffey were presented with the cheque on the field before play.
Clubs can still register for Sydney FC-s final Hyundai G4GR round which is against Wellington Phoenix on Sat 25th Feb.
Sydney will play to win a donation of $1,000 min and an additional $1,000 for each goal they score in the match for their local grassroots team.

Sydney FC-s previous round was in Week 6 in the epic 3-2 win over Gold Coast United. Beverley Hills Football Club picked up $4,000.
