As the football world focuses its attention on Australia to watch the best female footballers on the planet; two Sydney FC Members are preparing their own bid to win a World Cup. 10-year Cove Members Aiden Ware and Aaron Leonard are part of Australia’s Deaf Men’s and Women’s football teams who are planning to compete at the World Cup in Malaysia in September, if they can raise the money.

Sydney FC has revealed the club’s squad numbers for the Isuzu-UTE A-League Men’s 2023-24 season with several players opting for a change from last year. Young players Aaron Gurd, Adrian Segecic and Jake Girdwood-Reich have all moved into first eleven numbers with centre half Gurd taking the number three jersey, forward Segecic moving into number seven and Girdwood-Reich handed the number eight.
