I hope you all enjoyed last night’s win and are as pumped up for Sunday’s Sydney Derby as I am!
It’s a great achievement to have won eight Big Blues in a row, it’s a fixture we always look forward to and I think last night our performance definitely warranted the result.
Two wins in a row builds momentum and we’re all looking forward to Sunday’s clash at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
It’ll be a nice change of scenery, playing at a stadium we’ve enjoyed success at in our last two games there, and I’m excited by what’s in store.
We haven’t had the run of the green in our last few games against the Wanderers, but those results don’t do justice to our performances where we’ve dominated on the ball and created numerous chances.
Now it’s about putting away those chances, killing off the game and ensuring we don’t let the three points slip. With Alfie back in the side our strikeforce is only stronger and I’m expecting goals on Sunday.
I’m also expecting a great turnout from our Members and fans, it’s our last home game before the finals series and with a family friendly kickoff time there’s no excuse not to be out enjoying your afternoon, and your Sky Blues, at the SCG.
