Sydney FC is delighted to announce the signing of Central Coast Mariners Grand Final winning penalty hero Bianca Galic on a three-year contract which will add strength to midfield ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025/26 season.
26-year-old Galic was a goalscoring midfielder for the Mariners striking the net four times in 49 games in two successful seasons in which they made the Finals, lifting the Championship in May this year and walking away with the Mariners’ Player of the Season award too.
She also notched the winning penalty in the previous season’s Elimination Final against Melbourne Victory before being knocked out by the Sky Blues in the semi-finals.

Juric welcomed Galic’s arrival and believes she will bring valuable qualities to the team.
“Bianca is a fantastic signing for the club,” Juric said.
“She’s an intelligent and composed player with a tremendous work ethic.
“She brings a winning mentality and exceptional footballing ability, which she has consistently demonstrated season after season in the A-Leagues.

“Bianca will integrate seamlessly into our culture — she’s not only a great player but also a fantastic person whose character aligns perfectly with the values we uphold at Sydney FC.
“I’m confident she’ll make a significant impact both on and off the pitch in the years to come,” he concluded.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Sydney FC,” she said.

“I’m really looking forward to working with Ante and the playing group and pushing myself to grow as a player.
“It’s a huge opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”

Galic will link up with her new teammates in September when the squad begins pre-season training ahead of the new campaign.
