Sydney FC’s Nathan Amanatidis has completed a permanent move to Brisbane Roar on a 2.5 year contract with the Sky Blues securing a sell-on clause for any future transfer fees as part of the deal.
The 18-year old joined the Sky Blues in July 2023 from Adelaide United and has made 19 appearances, including two starts, scoring one goal.
Amanatidis expressed his gratitude to Sydney FC for their role in his career development.
“I want to thank everyone at Sydney FC for helping move my career forward in the past 18 months and giving me the opportunity to grow,” he said.
“I’ve enjoyed my time at Sydney FC and have had the opportunity to work with some great players and some great people.
“I’m looking forward to taking this next step with Brisbane Roar and continuing to challenge myself.”
Amanatidis has represented Australia at youth level in the under 17’s and under 20’s.
