Sydney FC’s highly acclaimed Academy Training Program is giving opportunities for talented youngsters to trial for the 2022/23 season.
Players who are currently part of SAP, GSAP or their local association development squads can apply to join the program in the following age groups.
Boys in the U10 to U12s
Girls in the U12 to U14s
The Sydney FC Academy Training Program is a proven pathway for talented players:
- 70% of the Sydney FC U13 Academy intake have participated in the Academy Training Program.
- Over 100 girls have participated in the Training Program so far.
- A total of 40 of the current Academy players have come through the Academy Training Program.
This year, the Program will be run at two locations in Sydney:
- Northern Suburbs (Macquarie University Sports Fields, Culloden Road)
- Kareela (Kareela Synthetic Field, Bates Drive)
Throughout the program, which spans a 40-week period, players will be guided by Sydney FC Academy coaches – and will follow a curriculum based on the Academy’s plans.

| Cost | Annual cost is $1,500 payable within 3 weeks of selection. |

Applicants will be notified week commencing Monday 12 September the outcome of their application. No correspondence will be entered into with parents regarding non-selections.
