Sydney FC’s A-League Women’s full season fixtures have been revealed with the club looking to defend their Premiership for only the second time in Women’s league history.
The Sky Blues have seven home fixtures, three home double headers and ten matches in New South Wales, including two Sydney Derbies and two games against newbies Wellington Phoenix.
Home games will be split between Netstrata Jubilee Stadium and Leichhardt Oval, while an away Grand Final re-match in an Australia Day double header looms against current Champions Melbourne Victory.
And Head Coach Ante Juric is delighted to finally see what they need to do to defend their title.
“It’s great to have the full fixtures and now we can start to plan towards the games,” he said.
“The fact we are playing a new club in Wellington Phoenix twice is exciting for everyone, as well as two Sydney Derbies and two games against our New South Wales rivals in Newcastle Jets.
“The three home double-headers will be excellent for our players. I really enjoy the days when the club and all Members and fans can come together and be part of the same event.
“We’re also playing at some great venues for crowds and on fields our players really love playing on.”
