Sydney FC’s returning U17 World Cup internationals headline eight inclusions in the Women’s squad, while Nikolas Alfaro and Marin France have been promoted to the Men’s extended squad.
Willa Pearson, Claire Corbett, Jada Taylor, Rubi Sullivan, Abbey Puckett and goalkeeper Annabelle Croll return from international duty, bolstering Head Coach James Slaveski’s options.
The Sky Blues also welcome back Amber Luchtmeijer and Sophie Aungle from injury.
Their inclusions come as Lauren Nada, Chelsea McCredie, Poppy Tay, Megan Mifsud, Asha Sutton and Angelina Scamardella depart the squad following the conclusion of their contracts.
Josie Wilson is also off contract and remains unavailable with a shoulder injury, while Jada Whyman, Shay Hollman, Amelia Cassar, Indiana Dos Santos, Sarah Hunter and Alyse Oppedisano are sidelined with injuries. Natalie Tobin remains unavailable as she works towards her return following pregnancy.
Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo’s Men’s squad is largely unchanged, with Alfaro and France promoted to the extended group. Two players will be omitted before the final matchday squad is confirmed.
Jake Hollman remains unavailable with a hamstring injury, alongside Gus Hoefsloot, Jacob Farrell and Abel Walatee. Zac Harrison is away on the Academy’s tour of Korea.
