Last Saturday marked a special milestone for Sydney FC, as the club hosted its first-ever Shoalhaven Pre-Season Gala Day, and it did not disappoint.
A total of 45 grassroots teams from across the region came together for a huge day of football, showcasing passion, energy and community spirit. From the first whistle to the final match, the South Coast was buzzing with excitement as young players took to the pitch, embracing the game and the Sky Blue way.
The event was proudly hosted in partnership with the Shoalhaven District Football Association, whose support played a key role in bringing the day to life. Sydney FC extends a huge thank you to the association, along with all the teams, coaches and families who contributed to such an unforgettable atmosphere.
More than just a day of football, the Gala Day highlighted the strength of grassroots football in the region and reinforced Sydney FC’s commitment to connecting with communities beyond the city.
With smiles, skill and plenty of memorable moments on display, the inaugural event has set a strong foundation for the future.
This is just the beginning and Sydney FC can’t wait to return to Shoalhaven again next year.
