Sydney FC and McDonald’s Australia are proud to announce the renewal of their successful partnership, extending the long-standing collaboration for another two years.
The new agreement builds on a strong seven-year relationship, with McDonald’s continuing as a Premier Partner of the club, as well as Sydney FC’s Official Quick Service Restaurant and Café Partner.
This latest deal continues McDonald’s naming rights to the Sky Blues’ very popular state-wide school holiday clinics, which will again be presented by McDonald’s.
The commitment reinforces both parties’ wish to nurture the next generation of footballers and support exercise in young people.
These include the nomination of RMHC ambassadors from the Sydney FC playing squads and dedicated promotions on McHappy Day.
The partnership also sees popular fan engagement initiatives such as “Macca’s Families on the Field” return plus “Macca’s Double Header” rounds, the “This Goal is Brought To You By” replays, and other in-stadium activations like the “Half-Time Heroes.”

Sydney FC General Manager of Commercial & Marketing Matt Pound welcomed the renewal of the partnership and praised the longevity of the collaboration:
“We are incredibly proud to be continuing our journey with McDonald’s – a brand that shares our deep commitment to community, family, and football.
“Over the past seven years, this partnership has delivered genuine impact both on and off the pitch, and we’re excited to take it to the next level.
“From supporting the next generation through our McDonald’s-presented Holiday Clinics, to creating unforgettable moments for families on matchdays, McDonald’s has helped us bring fans closer to the club in meaningful ways. This next chapter will only strengthen those ties.”

Mary Vrancic, Senior Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia added:
“At Macca’s, we’re passionate about supporting the communities we serve, and are proud to play an active role in the things that matter to our customers and people.
“Since 2016, we’ve partnered with Sydney FC, bringing Macca’s fans and football fans together to create moments of joy and connection both on and off the field.
“We’re thrilled to be extending that partnership and look forward to supporting Sydney FC in building community programs that inspire young players and bring families together through football.”
McDonald’s will also retain digital marketing rights, access to content features such as “Macca’s Moment of the Match”, and continued signage across both the digital and physical Sydney FC ecosystems.
McDonald’s branding will also continue to be prominently featured across Sydney FC’s A-League Men and Women’s apparel, matchday activations, digital platforms, and community initiatives.
