Ufuk Talay has named his squad for the second match of their huge road trip when Sydney FC take on Auckland on Sunday afternoon.
They left Japan on Thursday afternoon and won’t arrive in New Zealand until midday Friday and will have two days to acclimatise before taking on Corica’s Black Knights who opened their life as a club with a 2-0 win over Brisbane Roar last weekend.
In last week’s Sydney Derby, Max Burgess saw red and received a one game suspension, meaning he will miss out against the Sydney FC Hall of Famer.
After not making the 18 last weekend, Pat Wood and Zac De Jesus are included in the extended squad along with young defender Will Kennedy who was also on the bench for Wednesday night’s loss to Sanfrecce in Hiroshima.
