Sydney FC has appointed Dr. Jan Voss, Australian President of a world leading, luxury, automotive company to the club’s Board of Directors, Chairman Scott Barlow announced today.
Voss is a German-American international business executive with more than twenty years of experience across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
He is passionate about sport, particularly football, and is driven to make an impact in the community.
Chairman Scott Barlow said the appointment would bring an extra dimension to the club’s board.
“I am delighted to be appointing Jan as a Director to the Sydney FC board,” he said.
“Jan brings a wealth of experience from the international business industry having worked in senior positions within sales, marketing and finance.
“He is a keen supporter of Sydney FC and wants to grow our club and make a positive contribution to our community.
“I look forward to working closely with him.”
Jan’s wife Rossana also plays a significant role at the Sydney FC Foundation as a board member.
“I am excited to be joining the board of Australia’s most successful football club,” he said.
“I have been passionate about football from a young age and what it can do for society.
“I hope to be able to help increase Sydney FC’s exposure to the international business community, as well as lend an international commercial perspective to the decision-making process.”
Jan is fluent in English, German, Italian, French and Dutch and is a proud father of two.
