Sydney FC have been drawn against Oakleigh Cannons in the Australia Cup Round of 32.
The draw took place on Wednesday night and with a completely open draw, there was no restrictions on who the Sky Blues would face.
They avoided the Central Coast Mariners at the same stage for the third year running and will instead head to Melbourne to take on the Victorian NPL side.
They are currently sitting third in their league and have met Sydney FC in the competition before back in 2022 where the visitors lost to the semi pro side 2-1.
Ufuk Talay’s side will be hoping to avoid the same result this time around however.
Match details will be confirmed in the next week and matches will be played across two weeks from late July to mid August.
