Sydney FC’s postponed Liberty A-League Women’s clash with Canberra United will now take place in the January school holidays, with the re-arranged fixture confirmed to take place on Wednesday 3rd January at Leichhardt Oval in a 7pm kick off.
It means both Sky Blues home fixtures, which were postponed due to the club’s participation in the AFC Women’s Club Championship in Uzbekistan, will take place during the summer school holidays, making it easier for families to attend and kids to have fun.
It follows the announcement that our Round 3 home clash with Central Coast Mariners has been moved to Wednesday 17th January, also at Leichhardt Oval at 7pm.
In addition, Sydney FC Women have another January fixture being played closer to home with the A-League’s UNITE Round moving our Western United away clash to Allianz Stadium on Sunday 14th January with the time to be confirmed.
As this is still a designated away fixture, it is not included in Sydney FC’s Memberships, however tickets will be available at a discounted price. The gameday is also a double header with Brisbane Roar playing Newcastle Jets in the Isuzu-UTE A-League at the same venue. Ticket purchase details will follow shortly.
Liberty A-League Pass holders will be able to attend with their Liberty A-League pass in the usual manner.
All Full Season Sydney FC Memberships provide access to our Women’s games.
