Andrew Redmayne and Robert Mak have been rewarded with their recent Australia Cup form and have been called up to their respective National Teams.
Redmayne joins the Socceroos following his impressive cup run which saw him save two in the famous penalty shoot-out and score one too. He walks into camp having lifted the Australia Cup for the second time with his first coming back in 2017.
After missing out in the last camp, he will itching to impress the Socceroos boss and get a start when Australia take on England and New Zealand with both matches taking place in London.
As for Robert Mak, he has been a stalwart in that Slovakian team and become a favourite of Manager Francesco Calzona. Mak was involved in the most recent September window of Internationals and scored in a 3-0 victory over Liechtenstein at home.
Netting in the Cup Final, he is full of confidence heading into another camp in which he will face off with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal side along with Luxembourg.
Ahead of the start of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, both players will be happy with the additional training and competitive match action before the Big Blue on the 21st of October at Allianz Stadium.
