Sky Blues Champions League Clash Moved

Sydney FC’s AFC Champions League match day 5 clash against Urawa Red Diamonds at Allianz Stadium has been moved to a Wednesday night, the AFC confirmed today.

The Sky Blues were originally scheduled to face the Japanese club on Tuesday 19 April, however under Asian Football Confederation regulations the stadium must be free in the two days prior to the game.  A rugby league game on the Monday night means Sky Blues clash has now been moved to Wednesday 20 April (kick off 8pm) to allow for the clear period.

The match will be the second meeting between the two sides in the group stage of the 2015 AFC Champions League, with Sydney FC opening their campaign against Urawa in Japan on Wednesday 24 February (kick off 9:30pm AEDT).

Please note, current Sydney FC Members have until Friday 5 February to renew their current seats for our AFC Champions League matches.
