There’s usually something different happening in the training camp before a #SydneyDerby fixture but even more so this time as we are more determined than ever to get the win.
These types of games are a step up from the rest. They’re almost similar to Semi-Final football with what’s on hand.
I don’t like losing, especially if it’s the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Last time out did hurt us, but as they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. We will come out as ready as ever. I’m out for revenge and I’ll be playing my heart out to get it.
It was my first ever #SydneyDerby loss. It was only our second in our history. We’re dominant against them for a reason and don’t want to have that feeling of losing to them again.
The stakes are high on the ladder as well. We’re both sitting on the same amount of points in second place. With just three games left it’s crucial for us to win. We can keep the pressure on Melbourne City for the Premiership and also be front runners for a home Semi-Final.
I’ve always enjoyed playing at Cromer Park too, it’s the second time we’re playing there this season crowd gets better and better each time you visit. The Sky Blues’ Members and fans turn up in massive numbers and it’s always an amazing reception to the suburban ground up in Manly.
I can’t fault it. You’re so close to the fans and the atmosphere is buzzing. The locals love our games there, rain, hail or shine.
We’ve had our rest and we’ve planned for the big game on Saturday. We’re on the hunt for finals football and nothing will stand in our way of playing in it. We are the Westfield W-League Champions for a reason and we will go all the way in backing up that accomplishment with a big win this weekend.
