Maddie Caspers burst onto the A-League scene in 2023 as a 16-year-old after beginning the season as a train on under Ante Juric. She made her debut in a 1-0 victory over Newcastle Jets in December 2023 and barely looked back since. She was a key part of the 2023/24 season and earned herself a call up the Young Matildas and saw minutes as the Australians claimed bronze at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup in 2024. She is contracted at Sydney FC until 2026.
