Kyah Simon

The 100+ capped Matildas star returns to the Sky Blues for the upcoming Ninja A-League 2024/25 Season. Simon is a former Sydney FC player, having made 68 appearances for the club. She is a Julie Dolan medalist, an A-League Women’s Golden Boot winner, a Players’ Player of the Year winner and Young Player of the Year recipient and is still the only player in the A-Leagues’ history to win all four prestigious awards in the one season – 2010-11. The 33-year-old former Spurs, Houston Dash, PSV and Boston Breakers star has scored 29 times for the Matildas, including three crucial World Cup goals in 2011 and 2015. Simon was part of the Matildas squad who helped bring to life Australia during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™.
