Kirsty Fenton joined Sydney FC in 2022 from Newcastle Jets and found success immediately, winning the 2022/23 Liberty A-League Premiership. She has been called up to the U20 Matildas and travelled to Costa Rica in 2022 for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup where she made three appearances against Costa Rica, Brazil and Spain. She suffered a heartbreaking ACL injury against Wellington Phoenix in 2024 and signed a contract extension, keeping her at Sydney FC until 2026.
