King made his debut for Sydney FC in 2018/19 season after progressing through the club’s Academy. In the 2019/20 season, he played in 25 of Sydney FC’s 26 regular season matches and performed admirably. He was ever present during the 2020/21 season and picked up the A-League Young Player Of The Year Award. He returned on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season from Danish club Odense BK before signing permanently back in Sky Blue at the start of the 2023/24 season. Throughout his time with Sydney FC he has also been a regular name in the Socceroos squad and was part of the squad who went to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. King sits inside the top 20 for Sydney FC all time appearances.
