Joe Lolley
10 Attacker
Englishman Joe Lolley arrived on Australian shores having just taken his previous team Nottingham Forest to the highest level in England, the Premier League. The winger who was born in Birmingham, played his junior football at Kidderminster Harriers before making a name for himself at Huddersfield Town. After helping them to the Premier League and making a handful of appearances, he joined Nottingham Forest in 2018 where the Englishman made over 150 appearances, scoring 24 goals. He was loved by the Forest faithful and joined the Sky Blues at the start of the 202/23 season where he made his debut in the Australia Cup against Oakleigh Cannons. Lolley had an impressive debut season and had a memorable 2023 Australia Cup where he picked up the Mark Viduka Medal for the best on ground and followed that up with one of the best performances in a Sydney shirt, scoring two and assisting two in a 5-1 victory over Adelaide United.
