Fábio Gomes

Fabio Gomes joined Sydney FC on loan from Brazilian side Juventude for the 2022/23 season. Since joining, the Brazilian forward has gone on to score two goals against Brisbane Roar in a 3-1 win that saw the Sky Blues secure the 2023 Australian Cup at Allianz Stadium. His first goal in the goal in the league saw Sydney FC secure the club’s first win of the 2023/24 campaign against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium in a 5-1 win. Fabio Gomes has represented several clubs on different continents, such as Nacional Atletico Clube (SP), Gremio Esportivo Osasco, Audax and Oesta, Atlético Mineiro, Vasco da Gama in his native Brazil. He has also played in the MLS with the New York Red Bulls and in Japan with Albirex Niigata.
