Alexander Baumjohann

Alexander Baumjohann signed for Sydney FC from derby rivals, Western Sydney Wanderers in a surprising deal at the start of the 2019/20 season. The German left the trophy-less Wanderland seeking silverware at Sydney FC, and that was exactly what he got, winning both the Premiers Plate and the 2020 Grand Final. In his time in Germany, Alex was able to win the Bundesliga trophy and the DFB-Pokal with Bayern Munich, as well as the German Super Cup with FC Schalke.
