Sydney FC’s multi-title winning Liberty A-League Women’s Head Coach Ante Juric leads the Talented Sports Program at Matraville Sports High School.
The program offers boys and girls in Year 7 a full-time training environment, devised and delivered by highly qualified Sydney FC Academy-approved coaches.
Pupils combine their pursuit of academic excellence with year-round football training that reflects the Sydney FC Academy philosophies on playing, coaching, learning and talent identification.
Matraville Sports High School (MSHS) also offers Gifted and Talented classes, and this year the school is installing a new gym and tennis courts to give pupils increased opportuntities to enjoy their sport.
MSHS is a boutique co-educational community school on a sprawling campus with a rich history of producing athletes capable of performing at the highest levels.
Boasting a wide variety of extra curricular and enrichment activities the school also has a first of its kind and unique partnership with The University of New South Wales, who have a permanent presence at the school designed to deliver a range of bespoke educational and support activities to the school and surrounding communities.
