DISTRICT: AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY
Located in the Southern suburbs of Canberra, Erindale College is a unique year 10-12 senior college co-located to the Erindale community Library, Theatre and Active leisure centre providing players direct access to top class academic and athletic facilities.
The mission of the college is to create a positive, engaging and innovative learning environment that places students at the centre and builds a learning community and a culture of high expectations fostering a love of learning and empowering leadership at all levels.
The Sydney FC program @ Erindale is fully integrated into the existing curriculum with students participating in three training sessions per week embedded into their weekly timetable. The staff consists of a full time Sydney FC accredited coach supported by a director of sport, and teachers who are also qualified coaches.
Sydney FC Academy staff provide regular support visits across the course of the year and Erindale players and teams regularly travel to Sydney to participate in talent ID days and monitoring matches with other Academy Schools and the Academy.
