Sydney FC’s Young Trio Re-Sign

Star Young Matildas Trio have re-signed for Sydney FC

Sydney FC have secured the futures of three of their brightest young stars, with Caley Tallon-Henniker, Amber Luchtmeijer and Rubi Sullivan all committing to the club ahead of the 2025-26 Ninja A-League Women’s campaign.

Tallon-Henniker, 19, and Luchtmeijer, 18, have committed to two more seasons with the Sky Blues, while 16-year-old Sullivan has penned a one-year deal.

All three impressed during the club’s 2024–25 campaign and will remain key components of Head Coach Ante Juric’s vision for the future.

He praised their progression and the club’s commitment to nurturing top local talent.

Tallon-Henniker scores against Adelaide last season.

“All three girls have shown excellent promise and progress during the past season and have grown as players,” Juric said.

“The future can be really bright for all of them. We’ve shown time and again how Sydney FC is able to fast-track young players’ careers through our belief and investment in them.

“I’m excited to watch them continue their development and to see their desire and commitment to win trophies and individual accolades in Sky Blue.”
