Whether you’re self isolating, or have a spare hour during your working from home lunch break, everyone’s tuning into TV, Netflix or putting on a movie at one point or another.

For the Sky Blues it’s no different, and we’ve got their recommendations for you. It’s time to find out what your Hyundai A-League heroes are watching.

Here’s what’s playing at Kosta Barbarouses’ house at the moment…

What’s on at the moment?

Ozark. 2018

A financial adviser drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder $500 million in five years.

The Godfather Trilogy. 1972, 1974, 1990

The Godfather is an American film series that consists of three crime films directed by Francis Ford Coppola inspired by the novel of the same name by Italian American author Mario Puzo.

KB: I’m watching Ozark, it’s probably the best season so far, I’m halfway through it and it’s going really well. I’m also watching The Godfather trilogy again, it’s one of my favourites. I’ve got plenty of time and they’re long so I’m smashing through those.

What’s up next?

Top Boy. 2011

Top Boy is a British television crime drama series, created and written by Ronan Bennett. The series is set on the fictional Summerhouse estate in Hackney, East London.

Devs. 2020

Devs is centered on Lily Chan, a computer engineer investigating a quantum computing company called Amaya, run by Forest. She believes this company is responsible for the disappearance of her boyfriend.

The Mandalorian. 2019

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series depicts a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

KB: I might go through Top Boy on Netflix, I’ve heard pretty good things about it so I might watch through it. I might watch Breaking Bad through again and also Devs and The Mandalorian.

All time favourite?

Game of Thrones. 2011

Set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the realm’s noble families for the Iron Throne, while other families fight for independence from it.

KB: All time overall would have Game of Thrones, it’s got everything I want, I watched it when it first aired and I’ve watched it through all the later seasons. But there’s heaps, The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Rick & Morty, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, I’ve got a lot of time on my hand and TV shows are something I love to do.
