Money Heist. 2017
A criminal mastermind who goes by “The Professor” has a plan to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history — to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain.
AC: I just finished the 4th season and I’ve been hooked from the get go. The series has become increasingly popular and the famous masks have been adopted by people worldwide. Even appearing in the terraces at football games. My wife is also into it and I’m teaching her a bit of Spanish as we watch.
What’s up next?
Top Boy. 2011
Top Boy is a British television crime drama series, created and written by Ronan Bennett. The series is set on the fictional Summerhouse estate in Hackney, East London.
AC: I’ve been told it’s worth a watch by a few people. Street crime is always an easy watch so I’ll give it a go.
I also have to finish off Narcos Mexico.
All time favourite?
Breaking Bad. 2008
Breaking Bad follows Walter White, a meek high school science teacher who transforms into a ruthless player in the local methamphetamine drug trade, driven by a desire to provide for his family after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
AC: Love the storyline. Yet to watch anything like it. The series grows as the seasons go on.
I’ll confidently say it would challenge anyone’s favourite series so give it a go if you haven’t already.
