The Week Ahead: Sky Blues Away In The Hyundai A-League

Here’s your handy guide to what’s in store for Sky Blues across seven days, including an away Hyundai A-League game at Campbelltown and a return to Cromer Park for the Sky Blues’ NPL side, while the Westfield W-League season has concluded.

 

MONDAY
Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League team head to Balmoral Beach for a light recovery session after Sunday’s exertions at Leichhardt Oval in the club’s first Hyundai A-League clash there. The focus will be on getting the bodies right ahead of another busy week culminating in an away clash at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday against the Wellington Phoenix.

The Sky Blues’ NPL side meanwhile, enjoy Monday off.

TUESDAY
Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League squad have the day off, while the NPL sides return to training at Macquarie University Sports Fields with an early morning session at 8am.

Stay tuned this evening as well as we find out who the fourth team in our AFC Champions League group will be as the qualifiers wrap up.

WEDNESDAY
It’s back to training for the Hyundai A-League side, with an 11am session at Macquarie University Sports Fields, as we begin preparations for Saturday’s away clash against the Nix.

The NPL sides have another early morning session as First Grade Head Coach Jimmy van Weeren ensures his squad are in peak condition ahead of the season kicking off next month.

THURSDAY
Training continues for the Hyundai A-League squad at Macquarie University Sports Fields as the NPL sides have the day off.

Keep an eye out in the afternoon as the squads are announced and see who’s in and who’s out for Saturday’s away clash against the Nix at Campbelltown Stadium.

FRIDAY
It’s matchday -1 for the Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League squad as they finalise preparations for Saturday’s away encounter against the Wellington Phoenix at Campbelltown Stadium.

Sydney FC’s NPL sides also return to training ahead of their trial game on Sunday.

SATURDAY
It’s Game Day for the Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League squad as we travel to Campbelltown Stadium to face the Wellington Phoenix at 5:35pm AEDT. Make sure you #WatchWithUs LIVE on Fox Sports 505 or at our Official Home Away from Home at The Star, Sydney.

It’s matchday -1 for our NPL side as they go through their paces on Saturday morning ahead of their trial match at Cromer Park on Sunday.

SUNDAY
The Hyundai A-League squad will report to Sky Blues’ HQ at Macquarie University Sports Fields for a light recovery session following Saturday’s clash.

Meanwhile, it’s Game Day for our NPL side as they face Manly United at Cromer Park in a pre-season trial match.
