Sydney FC have revealed two big arrivals this week having signed a four-year back of shorts deal with VisionPay for their A-League Men’s squad.
VisionPay are a payment services provider who cover payment gateway, in store terminals and advanced fraud screen solutions.
Their arrival as a new member of the Sydney FC corporate family coincides with the return of Sky Blues superstar striker Adam Le Fondre to the club’s training ground for the first time this season.
Le Fondre has only recently been able to return to Australia from the UK and has spent the past two weeks in hotel quarantine.
The Sky Blues top goalscorer in two out of the past three seasons welcomed VisionPay to the club.
“We are delighted to have VisionPay on board for the next four seasons,” he said.
“It’s going to be a really exciting few years and it will be fantastic to have VisionPay join us for the ride.
“I’m looking forward to meeting Admir and Brett and all the staff, and I’m sure it’s going to be a great partnership.”
The partnership means Sydney FC’s A-League Men’s playing strip is fully signed off with all Sky Blues’ partners signed up for season 2021-22.
Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend said: “I’d like to welcome VisionPay to Sydney FC and I look forward to enjoying a fantastic working relationship with them.
“Admir and Brett have been excellent to work with and I’m sure our partnership is going to be as great for our club as it will be for VisionPay.
“I’m thrilled to have all of our A-League Men’s major partners signed up well ahead of the campaign, and I’m looking forward to a great season ahead.”
VisionPay is a 100% Australian owned company, located in Sydney, who provide a technology first approach to payments.
Chief Executive Officer Admir Nasic said VisionPay were excited to begin their Sky Blue journey.
“To be partnering with Australian football’s most successful club for the next four seasons is a fantastic opportunity for VisionPay.
“Sydney FC are the benchmark in the A-Leagues and we are looking forward to becoming hugely involved with the club and getting to know everyone.
“I can’t wait for the season to begin and to see the club challenge for those major trophies.”
Sydney FC’s partnership with VisionPay will see the payment service’s logo appear on the back left of the Sky Blues’ playing shorts for the 2021-22 season through to 2024-25.
