It was a marathon journey just to make the game for Rhyan Grant, and he put in another industrious shift on Sunday night to claim the Under Armour Man of the Match award.
Returning to Australia the day before the clash following Socceroos duty, Grant showed no signs of fatigue as he completed another full 90 minutes, while laying on the assist for Kosta Barbarouses’ winning goal.
In general play, Grant ended the match with a passing accuracy of 87.3% while creating another 2 chances to go with his second half assist.
The Sky Blue star won three duels, one aerial duel and made four clearances in defence as he played out his 200th game for the club.
