UEFA EURO 2024 within reach for Mak

Robert Mak has been called up the Slovakian squad once again as his nation conclude their UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying.

The Slovaks currently sit in 2nd place with five wins under their belt, eight points behind first place Portugal. However, more importantly, they are four points clear of third place Luxembourg with two games remaining.

Robert Mak scored against Liechtenstein earlier this qualifying campaign

The top two teams from each group will progress to UEFA Euro 2024 which will be held in Germany at the end of this season.

As it stands, should Slovakia win against Iceland on Friday 17th November (Australian time), they will qualify for the European showpiece event in Germany. Should they fail to win, it will come down to the final game against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Mak will depart for Slovakia after this Saturday’s match in Adelaide and will return in time for the Sydney Derby on the 25th of November at Allianz Stadium.
