Three Sydney FC players have been named in the Professional Footballers Australia Team of the Season.
The PFA Team of the Season is voted for by the players and they should be very proud of being named in the 18 player squad.
After a stellar campaign which saw him score 12 league goals, Joe Lolley is named in the Starting XI. The Englishman took the league by storm and is touted by many to be in contention for the Johnny Warren Medal.
Also included among the substitutes is Anthony Caceres and Jake Girdwood-Reich. Caceres had another impressive season where he played a number of different positions from the wing to a number nine, to a holding midfielder or a number 10.
Jake Girdwood-Reich was moved into central defence during pre-season and hasn’t looked back since. He has started 29 matches across all competitions and formed a strong partnership with Hayden Matthews at the back despite both still being teenagers.
