The 2026 Under Armour Sydney FC Cup has come to a close after two incredible weeks of football, bringing together some of the state’s most talented young players for an unforgettable celebration of the game.
Across both the JDL and GJDL competitions, hundreds of players took to the pitch over the school holidays, showcasing outstanding skill, teamwork and sportsmanship in a fantastic festival of football. This year’s tournament featured 43 GJDL teams and 38 JDL teams, with 645 girls and 456 boys competing across four action-packed days of football.
An estimated 4,500 spectators also attended throughout the tournament, creating an incredible atmosphere from the opening whistle to the final.
The final weekend saw the GJDL competition take centre stage, with an outstanding 43 teams competing across the Under 10/11 and Under 12/13 age groups.
