Today we’re looking at the impressive stats of new Sky Blue Kosta Barbarouses.
The New Zealand international’s move to the Sky Blues made waves in the pre-season of 2019/20, and he quickly form a solid partnership with strike partner Adam Le Fondre to add another fearsome dimension to Sydney FC’s attacking quartet.
From the 20 games he’s featured in so far this season, Barbarouses has fired 23 shots on target, scoring eight goals in the process, six with his right foot and two with his left foot.
Playing his part in the Sky Blues’ march to the summit of the Hyundai A-League ladder, Barbarouses has earned six assists, making 26 key passes and 19 crosses from open play, and winning 22 fouls with the opposition struggling to contain the pacey striker.
Barbarouses also holds a 76% passing accuracy, while in defence he’s won over 80% of his tackles and made 11 interceptions.
