Sydney FC return to the scene of the performance that has gone on to characterise their season on Sunday, when they meet Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Sky Blues came back to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Nick Carle and Jamie Coyne.
It-s a win which Terry McFlynn believes has given them the courage in many other matches this year.
“That was probably the catalyst for the tag that we-ve got this season that we can always come from behind and keep going to the end,” said the Sydney skipper.
“That probably instilled a belief that we didn-t probably have last season.
“So now it-s just trying to work on the other side and getting ourselves in front and staying in front.”
The win against Perth last weekend was the first game at the Sydney Football Stadium where the Sky Blues have taken the lead this season.
And coach Vitezslav Lavicka says it has given them belief for the final part of the season.
“You can have a look and see the confidence is higher now. Everything is better but we all know another tough and important game is coming now for us.”
